Effective October 27, 2026. This explains what Tree Removal Battle Creek ("we") does with information that reaches us through this website or our phone number.
What reaches us
- Requests: whatever you type into the form or put in an email (name, phone, email, town, the tree job, your notes), stamped with the date, time and page.
- Phone calls: the number you call from, when you called and for how long, as logged by our phone carrier. Voicemails and calls may be recorded.
- Visits: routine technical data our hosting provider keeps, such as pages requested and browser type. We run no advertising trackers.
- Spam filtering: the form may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at technical details of your browser.
Why we use it
- To pass your request to a tree contractor serving your area
- To answer you
- To keep records of the referrals we make
- To block spam and misuse
Who receives it
- The tree contractor we refer you to, so they can get in touch. Those contractors pay this site for the requests they receive, and a call to our number may be put through directly to one of them.
- Companies that run our tools for phone, email, forms and web hosting.
- Officials, only when the law requires it or to protect someone's safety or rights.
Nobody buys your details from us, and nothing unrelated to your tree job gets pitched to you with them.
Recording
Every call opens with a notice that it may be recorded.
How long we keep it
For as long as our referral and business records need it, then it's deleted.
Your options
Write to info@treeremovalbattlecreek.com to see, fix or delete what we hold about you. If a contractor has your request already, their copy is kept under their own policies.
Children
The site is for grown-ups arranging tree work at a property, and nothing here is aimed at children or knowingly gathers their information.
Updates
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it.
